George Bush In Quotes

George Bush will no doubt be remembered for a lot of the weird, wacky and quite silly leadership quotes over the course of his presidency. Some were taken out of context, some were jokes taken too seriously and some were just total gaffes. What is clear is George Bush was not your typical leader and that is why despite all he did while president many Americans would still love to share a beer with him and chat over less important issues in life. George was a real Everyman leader and weather that is what caused him problems or darker powers telling him what to do, who knows. But for whatever reason he will be remembered.

Some of his leadership quotes.

“A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it.”

A classic case of a joke gone bad for bush, the guy loved to have a joke and often the media just loved to try and turn it around on him.

“Bring them on. “

A very cowboy president and very American, one of the reason many people loved him despite all the troubles he had, many would cringe at his attitude to leadership but the rest would be cheering.

“Do I think faith will be an important part of being a good president? Yes, I do. “

There was no doubt that Bush was a leader who believed in God which is not something a whole lot of people have a problem with. The place where Bush run into problems is crossing the line of having faith and running the country based on what god tells him. People like a leader with faith but the don’t actually want them to make decisions based on faith.

“After the chaos and carnage of September 11th, it is not enough to serve our enemies with legal papers. “

This leadership quote showed how bush was totally in touch with the feeling of the nation after September 11 and people were glad to have leadership which was not afraid to say America is pissed off and we are not going to take this laying down.

“I had to abandon free market principles in order to save the free market system. “

some leadership quotes just sound wrong and it doesn’t mater if there is any truth or basis to them, people will hear this quote and think, what an idiot. I don't know anything about free market principles but I know as a normal person, this just sounds dumb.

George bush will be always remembered for his leadership quotes, some funny some bad, some quite insightful and powerful.
